Is This Normal?

Hi all, just bought some young clown loaches from my lfs (beautiful!! ) anyway, i havn't seen them ever since i brought them home Is this normal, i mean, i'm guessing they're just scared! lol Thanks in advance, Alex

How many did you buy? They ate schooling fish and they grow up to 30cm each. You should have at least 4ft yank if not more and have 6+.

They are probably acclimatising or you bought too few and they are hiding. What are you keeping with them?

I have one in my tank and he is amazing. He doesn't really hide and kinda just goes about looking for snails. How many did you buy? My good friend has 4-5 in his tank and they all act about the same as mine does. What are the water perimeters too? I noticed with them in the past that if they get sick they will hide. When mine had ick he hid for days in my quarantine tank. Thanks...

It is normal for them to hide in a new tank and it may be weeks before they come out during the daylight hours. I'll second what twodoctors asked...

How many do you have? As they need to be in groups of 6+
How big is your tank? As they will eventually get to over 12"
