Hi, I have read the pinned thread in the other section of the forum. However I am unsure if my fish has ICK.
Yesterday I added a discus into the tank. I have no quaranteen tank so was unable to do that. Today, on the top of its left side, just under its fin I can see a single small raised 'grain like' dot. It looks like is has a bit of dandruf stuck to him This spot is 'attached' edge on - the same way a coin would look if attached by its curved edge.
There are no other 'spots' present on this fish on any other. Is it likely that this is ICK?
If so, all the shops are shut now and I can't get any meditation until tomorrow. Also I work on Sundays so won't be able to treat the tank until tomorrow evening. Would this pose a problem?
Again - I am not sure if this is white spot as there is only the one single 'spot'...
Here's my water parameters:
Ph - 7.4 (the shops Ph was 7.2 so not a large difference for this tank bred discus)
Am - 0.0
Ni - 0.0
Na - 15
Kh - 13
The discus is swimming around happily enough and its fins are not clenched...
