hi all i baught this CT male as a giant he looked so big at the shop but now i can see him with another he doesnt seem so big any thoughts?
could he have abit of giant in him?

He looks pretty normal to me. I have an older crowntail that is about that much bigger than my younger boys and he's not a giant.

i ahve some CT fry and he is the dad to them, growing nicely now and i can see they rays starting to split and grow longer

i belive that is just a yellow betta, but i really can't tell with the lighting.

awww thanks i saved her from a shop where i swear they dont feed them as they were so small and so skinny she only has one problem one of her ventrals are very small but it doesnt bother her.

that is the first lfs i ever heard of that never fed their female bettas! at my lfs2 (there r two lfs over by my house along with a petsmart and petsco), they keep em in a tank with a bunch of other ffish, and they get fed well.

yuors are luck im always saveing at least one female when ever i got there as i feel sorry for them nexted time i get one i will post a pic of what a state they are in.
they also dont know how to sex them as i have also baught so called female but they end up being plakat males but now im wiser and can tell them apart. im getting an inkling that yellow female is male as she never has any eggs and hates males starts f;air at them

... yea im sorry... cleo was filled to the brim with eggs after 3days of owning her (still is and i have had her for what a month she wants to breed so bad)

you cant tell if she has an egg spot because of her bad ventral its like a red blob thing curved inwards over the eggs spot or where one should be, so i dont know thats why ive beed feeding her up for 2 weeks to see if she will get eggs and so afr she hasnt ill give her another 2 weeks if nothing then its a boy
