Well the light was just a candle This morning's show:

Ammoina 1ppm
Nirite 1ppm
Nitrate 40ppm
ph 7

As expected - Nitrite was 0 at 7.00pm. Ph 7.6. I've added another 7.25 ml ammonia. Fingers crossed for the morning now.

Thanks WD - the reassurance does help!

Last night we had 0 for both and added 7.25 ml Ammonia.

This morning it was:

Ammonia 0ppm - yay!
Nitrite 1ppm not so yay!
Ph 6.8! taking a slight dip again. But we're going to leave it until tonight to see what it is then.

But it looks like the ammonia has caught up again, just waiting for the nitrite to do the same.

Well the readings for the past 24 hours have mirrored the previous, ie at 6.00pm Ammonia and Nitrite was zero, ph 7.6 and ammonia added - 7.25ml. Then at 6.00am - the same as yesterday morning, ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 1ppm.

Off to buy another bucket of patience this morning!!

Thanks BTT we are keeping an eye on the ph but it's only varying slightly now - she say's with fingers tightly crossed!!@)
