is this a disease or what?

Well, yesturday when i came home from school i found one of my minows dead in the other tanks, the weird thing is it looked like it had fur or something then today i come home and my bro had put some goramis in the same tank, i found those two dead too, looking just like the minow, but the week before they were all fine nothing, they never showed any signs of any aggression towards one another or something, do my fish have a disease??

the 'fur' on the minow was it white? if so it could be a fungal infection caused by bad water conditions, stress, fighting etc.

what size is the tank?

not sure i could only see it in the water, as soon as i took the fish out i couldn't see anything, its a 10 gallon, and i had just cleaned out the tank last sunday, even though there was still some nasty food in there that i couldn't take out, but the filter sucked that all up. plus i put a divider in there so the minows couldn't get caught in the filter. They never fought, they were always seperated

hmm. what are your nitrate, nitrite and ammonia readings?
