Is my Molly supposed to look like this?

Hi all! Relatively new to the hobby here. This Mollie was given to me mid December, and she's progressively gotten bigger over the course of 3 months. Is this just the type of Mollie she is? Or is she just fat lmao. Many thanks!

The molly looks pretty short. I would suggest that you have a balloon molly, they are fish that are breed to look short and plump. If not a balloon variety I would say it is too large and may be either over feed, or not particularly healthy.

I have another Molly that's way younger, it was pretty much a fry when I got it, that also looks like it's heading the same way. So I'm going to assume you're right and it's just a balloon one
