Here is a page with sofa tables from Value City. Of the 12 sofa tables, I see 1 (Euro Manor) for sure that I think would work. A couple of the others may be ok but seeral I would definitely not trust.

And I have seen the boxed furniture with manuals (put several of them together as a matter of fact). I wasn't thinking of those but more of the finished furniture.

I am glad you dont have your tank in my house as if the desk does let go it will make a hell of a mess lol, just make sure u keep a bucket near by so you can save your fish!!!!!!
