Is My Bristlenose Sick?

my bristlenose has a cut on her side, im not sure if shes cut her self on the driftwood, or if my pleco has gotten to her. there is also a greenish almost sugar looking maybe fungus kind of thing on her nose and one of her fins, is this just her markings or is it a fungus or disease of some sort? would it be best to put her in a tank by herself to keep an eye on her? and is there anything i can put in the tank to make it more comfortable whilst she got the cut, and the fungus if is that? and if it is what can i use to cure it?
please help. sorry i cant get any pictures. her personality has also changed abit, she hides alot, were as she neva used to, this might be because of the plecos large size too.

You're probably better off posting this in the Emergencies section

I've personally never seen it myself, but it does sound a little bit like velvet - but I'm really not sure on that one, and there's folks on the emergencies boards that know what they're talking about - so best to ask there and get their advice?
