Is My Betta Fish Sick Or Spastic? Please Help

Is your betta acting any better today? I've never heard of wardleys, how large are the pellets?
They're pretty small. Thanks, my Betta fish is actually feeling better today, he hasn't made a bubblenest since his last tank change so I was scared that he was sick, but today I saw him making the beginning of his bubblenest so he is healthy, but I fed him a crushed up pea so that it prevents him from bloat, constipation, and he won't get clogged up thanks pablothebetta :)

On a normal basis (for me) I feed my betta like so (different meals every day)
Bloodworms: 3 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon
Flakes: 2 in the morning, 1 in the afternoon
Pellets: (each serving size is 6 pellets) 6 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon.
Its been the same menu for 4 years now :)

Oh! I feed my Betta 8 pellets too! But everyone said it was too much, I feed him 3 pellets at 3:00 2 pellets at 6:00 and 3 pellets at 9:00 I use wardley Betta pellets, I bought it at petco, some people say petco doesn't take care of their Betta fish properly and thats why they refuse to buy anything from the petco brand, but it's not the petco name that treats them this way. It's the owner of that particular petco store you go to, my local petco has beautiful Betta fish and they're all healthy, it's my local petsmart that has dead, sick, and rotten Betta fish, but I'm no lt saying anything bad about " petsmart " itself, it's just the owner themselves, but I'm sure other petsmarts take care of Betta fish properly, well anyways, I just said that because I saw one of your comments on another topic and something was mentioned about the petco brand..I probably sounded like a petco fanatic, im not, I just wanted to let everyone know that. :)

Just a thought, was your betta doing a similar thing to the guppies in this video?

If he's rubbing himself against the cone in the tank, it could be a parasitic infection

I totally agree that a very small percentage of petco and petsmart (out of a vast majority) are decent. Otherwise, there is a whole riot against the 85% of petco and petsmart that are cruel to animals. I have witnessed this first hand when I asked my local petco to take care of my dog for a week and a half. My dog later came back with kennel cough and fleas. No surprise, all the other animals there had the same illness. Majority rules.....

That seems like quite a bit in a small time frame. if you want to feed more than once a day, it's better to space it out as much as possible. I feed all my guys once around 10 AM, once around 6 PM, and then I throw in some food for the catfish an hour or two after the lights in my room (and my tank) are off. Gotta give them enough time to digest and settle.

Bettas are fish that will feed constantly but not much at any one time in the wild. The best thing you could do is to feed only until he is satisfied each time but do it several times each day so that not much time passes while he is hungry. That means tons of very small feedings each day. With the number of tanks that I have, I simply cannot do that. Instead I feed enough once or twice a day so that he never gets really hungry, but I recognize it is not ideal either. Your 3 times feeding looks like a good compromise to me. Just be extra careful not to over feed at any one feeding.
