Is It Safe To Put Laminated Background Picture Inside Tank?

i personally think its alot of effort tbh id and the perspex will be a fair bit

around 15 quid delivered for a sheet 1500 X 500 x 3 mm. 4 quid for sealant
Which works out to half the price it would to get my pis laminated.

I just want to know if you think it will be water tight

Its a picture that i have set my heart on. Otherwise there is no other option for me to have a picture inside the tank

I just find it hard to believe that i cant get a fully waterproof resistant background picture with an ocean landscape!
Ive been looking all week!

That is pretty strange. What country do you live in?

If there really is no other option, you could try laminating the picture and sticking it in, the worst I could see happening is that it leaks and ruins the picture.

before filling the tank attach the picture to the mirrored back. Have a piece of glass cut to fit inside and cover the whole back of the tanks. Seal it with silicone. That should solve it. You don't need a very thick piece of glass because it is just there to cover the picture.

Im in wolves uk, ive been looking all over the net.
Im going to get 2 perspex sheets & insert my pic inbetween with sealant around the edges followed my a band of tape. Surely, this has got to work.
As i said, it works out cheaper than to get it laminated ... 6ft X 2ft
