**Just noticed the title seems to have been blocked off. The 'I' was for introduced, I must have done over the character limit **
Planted some echinodoras and vallis around 2 weeks ago, but they don't seem to be doing too well at all.
Some leaves on the echinodoras are turning yellow, others developing brown patches. Many of the 'brown patches' have a "lacey" look to them, where the plant has developed holes. Some of the smaller echinodoras I have (I have 2 different species in there, though unfortuantely I am not sure exactly what species they are as they were bought bunched with no tags) have got brown lines all over them, giving them a 'scaly' look.
The vallis seems to be turning yellow/brown and dying. I have already ended up removing most of the plant that I planted due to it dying.
Is this normal for recently introduced echinodoras and vallis? Will they grow back/regain health?
I have regular pale sand substrate and dose daily with 'King British' liquid fertilizer. I don't currently dose any form of CO2, though I was thinking of buying a liquid source of it. Would this be a good idea?
Many thanks, any advice is greatly appriciated
