Yeah! I thought that too.Poor hydra's
FENBENDAZOLE Kills the stuff stone dead inside 3 days. I had a major infestation in my fry tanks not so long ago (introduction of floating plants and heavy feeding regime). Used the above drug to excellent results. Watched them dissolve with my magnifying glass. Totally safe to use even in fry tanks with the correct dosage.

FENBENDAZOLE is absolutely safe for the eradication of hydra in fry/adult tanks used in the correct dosage. You safely used the FENBENDAZOLE in a populated fry tank with no ill-effects on the fry?
Aphyosemion australe chocolate and Aphyosemion tirbaki (Killifish) 4weeks old and still feeding on newly hatched brineshrimp. If so, about how old were your fry and what type of fish?
They can and will eat fry and if there is a very large number of them they may cause damage to very small fish such as neons and guppies but otherwise they are harmless. I actually quite like having them in my tanks as they catch and eat any free swimming nasties which might otherwise cause problems.

The hydra I had fed on the brineshrimp also and multiplied at an alarming rate.
FENBENDAZOLE cleared the lot.
