Is anything wrong with the cup?

I put Sakana in the cup to get ready for our roadtrip, but there has been a short delay in our leaving. I looked at him, and he is kind of pale except for a vertical bar that goes all the way down both sides of his body. Is this normal, or is something wrong with him? I fed him just one pellet, and he gobbled it up, and he's swimming around in his cup normally.

Instead of a cup why don't you put him in an empty glass jar? Like the spaghetti ones or the coffee ones. Most of them are about a liter and you can poke holes into the top. Maybe he got kinda depressed in the sudden reduction in space??

Hiya, my opinion abt wots made him get like this, is just that hes not used to the small space, and it may have shocked him a little, but im sure that he will regain his normal colouring and happy personality in no time, its just his way of ajusting to the different surroundings

Or a Snapple bottle if you are short of space. That's how I travel with mine.
