I;ve just boughta Koralia 1 as advised by Seffie and a local person has a SunSun Wave Maker - 5000 LPH for sale for £17. Would the Koralia be enough for live rock only with 2 clown fish or would the tank benefitfrom two powerheads?

I;m a marine ignoramus so sorry for the basic questions

cheers Simon

Koralia 1 would be fine in your tank. 65L i think it is?

More flow would be needed for the likes of hard corals etc.

what about a small internal I haave from when the tank was a freshwater tank?any merit in using that as well as the koralia 1?

Yes, that should be fine.

If i remember correctly, you want atleast 20X turnover, in a simple set-up.
So say, the tank is 65LX20= 1300LPH would be needed.

You could add another, but adding the 5000lpH and the koralia would defos be overkill. Just adding the 5000LPH on its own would be overkill.

I brought 1X 3000LPH sunsun powerhead for my 65L.

Could be used for keeping rowphos in :good: but how much space would it take up and how unsightly would it look?

Seffie x

ps £17 for a sunsun isn't a particularly good price for a secondhand one - they are cheap
