I myself own an I phone, an would love to have a app for TFF it would make things so much easier!!

There is a mobile version but it seems to be iffy on the trigger to switch - I'm not sure what they're using, at one point i posted some code in a thread about a mobile version that would make the switch work more reliably but it doesnt seem to have been implemented. I'm also not sure who's in charge of the coding.

I just scrolled down to the bottom of the page and pressed the icon bottom left to change to mobile browsing.

Glad to help, I have the ip5 and icon link is so small it can easily be missed.

I have a Galaxy and the mobile version works great on my phone. There are no plans for an actual ap though.

I guess I just don't understand why it can't be worked on to automatically load in mobile version after a certain window width. I also have a galaxy but I know that I tried to get my mum's phone to go into mobile version and the button was literally not showing up (chrome browser, lg lower level smart phone).

Well...it does. I have my skin set to the default, not mobile, but when I visit with my phone it automatically shows it in the mobile view. I don't have to make any changes to the settings.

Would be nice - With different calculators and specie look ups and all sorts of gadgets :p

That's how I get my company's site to load the mobile version.

I guess the site sets a cookie or some such on the phone to make it remember to load the mobile version from a phone. However, you need to bear in mind that the forum uses prewritten software, and there isn't a lot of mucking about with the html code that Chad can do.

Ah - I didn't realize that. Sorry Chad!

Yes...it is an off the shelf product. It's a good one but off the shelf is off the shelf. Also, in the tech world there is a move away from apps toward responsive pages. You will be seeing fewer and fewer apps go web pages.

Responsive pages was what I was talking about without naming. So this software doesn't support this? The kind of responsive page that I'm thinking of could be emulated in a browser by dragging the window size to different widths.
