Hope I've posted this in the right place!!

I have changed from Aquasafe to Interpet Bioactive Tapsafe as it was cheaper...it says on the bottle its safe for tropicals.

However, where I was using 5 ml per imperial gallon of Aquasafe it states on the bottle of Interpet Bioactive that
I only need 0.5 ml per gallon?? this sounds like a very small amount - so I am checking on here that its correct before I use it!! Fish doing really well and don't want to upset the apple cart so to speak...so if anyone uses Interpet Bioactive please let me know the correct doseage....

Many thanks...Julie

i'll move this over to the tropical discussion thread, you'll have more luck in there. :good:

If it says 0.5 ml on the bottle, then 0.5 is all you need. I know it seems like very little, but it'll still work. I use a pond dechlorinator that only needs 1ml to treat 70 litres of water!

It's almost impossible to overdose on dechlor, so use 1 ml per gallon if it makes you feel better, but it's really not neccessary :)

Thanks for the reply...and I'll have to use 1 ml per gallon!! 0.5 ml just seems wrong...like washing up with no bubbles.... !! thanks
