Internal Parasite Or Just Pregnant?

Hi, last weekend i was given 2 platty (Female). I was told they may be pregnant. They both look like barrels, the larger 1 of the 2 looks really big. I was just wondering if there was any deffinate way 2 tell if they are pregnant or have an internal parasite. I cant see a gravid spot as both of theirboddies are black, ther is a little white/orange patch on their underbelly (this is closer to their heads though, not near their rear fins), but still no gravid spot i visible. I hope someone can help quick because if it is a parasite i want to treat ASAP. I hope someone can help.

Feed them some peas it helps pass any nastys, but by the sounds of things they could just be pregnant is there any strange behaviour like hiding and not eating?

Thanks for ur reply, they seem to behaving quite normal & are eating rather well. They are getting bigger tho. A friend called today and said that some platty are just shaped like that, but as i say they are quite round and are getting bigger

id say she probably pregnant my guppies get HUGE like they 're going to burst i have one at te moment looks like a baloon!
