Infected tank?

Hello, I am relatively new to fishkeeping, I currently have superfish Home 60L,

however I have run into a problem. I am currently stocking a pair of Apistogramma cocatoides, 2 sterbae corys and 3 ottos, as well as 4 espei rasboras. However, I just brought 10 ember tetras, in hopes to get a shoal going, and one of which had some sort of infection, had some white markings on their body And as which died... which now means my whole tank is infected... I’m really cross that I was sold Ill fish... what do you guys recommend doing next...

Do you have an image of the markings on the fish? Are there visible white markings on any of your other fish?

Apistogrammas need a larger tank than you need and when they'll lay eggs, they will become agressive to other fish, and corydoras need a shoal of 6 or more and a tank of 20 gallons. I would say, you are quite overstocked.
The "white specks" were and are ICK (or ICH), eiher you got already infected fish or is caused by stress and over stocking (which leads to water quality issues). @Colin_T , our good member might help you in treating ICH.

Ich is caused by stress. The fish were probably stressed when you got them, it's not usually the pet stores fault. Your tank is way overcrowded. I would take back the 10 new fish. It will only cause more problems

The white markings - did they look as though the fish had been sprinkled with salt, or were they more like white patches?

Any chance of a picture and short 30 second video of the fish?
If the pictures are too big for the website, set the camera's resolution to its lowest setting and take some more. The lower resolution will make the images smaller and they should fit on this website. Check the pictures on your pc and find a couple that are clear and show the problem, and post them here. Make sure you turn the camera's resolution back up after you have taken the pics otherwise all your pictures will be small.

If you are using a mobile phone to take the video, have the phone horizontal so the video takes up the entire screen. If you have the phone vertical, you get video in the middle and black on either side.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate each day for 2 weeks or until we work out what is wrong with the fish. This will dilute the number of disease organisms in the water and help buy the fish some time until we figure out what is wrong.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.
