Just upgrade my 28L tank to a 90L.
It's only been running since Sunday with the same fish as my old tank: 1x Ram, 4x Algae eating shrimp, 2x Albino Cory, 8x Neons, 1x Bristlnose Pleco
I think I have lost 2 shrimps since the change. Used all the water from the old tank, and even left my old filter spnge in the new tank all day (with a good squeeze out). Added Filter treatment, Ich treatment and Declorinater (following advice from lfs). Since discovered the Ich treatment was not shrimp friendly! Although I am not sure if this is the only reason for 2 missing shrimps? The one i have seen wondering about seems very sickly, almost like its paralised always stuck on its side
I think the fish seem to be ok (touchwood), getting water tested tomorrow hopefully. Is there anything else I can do to smoothen the transition and avoid any illness/death?? When would be best to add any new fish?
