Don't know if it's been said, I can't be bothered to read the whole thread. ( I can see what's coming )

Anyway. I find it quite annoying when you make a thread waiting for a reply, sometimes urgently. You see there's been a response so click on it in excitement that you have your answer, only to find a response like 'sorry I can't help but good luck'

The typical (probably falls into the above) 'wish you were closer' response in the for sale section

People who are overly nice for no reason(butt kissers), to an extent it makes your skin crawl reading it

Multiple threads on the same topic by the same person get a bite out of me everytime

I did see someone suggest a rating button.. however I can't see that being a great idea as everybody would end up throwing a hissy fit each time they were rated badly. The forums would be overrun with people questioning others judgement on their posts and opinions all the time.

Plenty of people react badly enough against slightly negative replies as it is without a bad mark on their posts/profiles too.

which is exactly why i find requests for same, so annoying. (as it was me who mentioned them, but only in the negative)

same goes for all the other calls for "badges" to swell an, individual's, ego.


I still don't understand the premise for the thread! if threads bore/upset you, don't read or answer them. unless, of course, you feel you have some right, to dictate what people think/say. and, as we don't have that right, it still makes no sense.

This is just me, but for some reason I love to complain and love to hear other people complain. I love to look at negative reviews of books and movies (Even if it's something I love). I can't explain why I like it, I just do. I don't really want people to stop doing all of these things, because at that rate we wouldn't have a forum.

I, initially, got involved looking to put alternative points of view on 'annoying posts'. i then answered some posts, directed at me. left it for a while, came back to it, and find it still going on, then i made my comments on its premise, once again.

well, that said, I would like to add "What Type Of Posts Do You ? ? ? ??" to the list, i have already posted
