In defence of LFSs

Couldn't agree more with you Ben. I live in Brockworth so it's only a 10 minute walk down the road. They've got a really nice set up there, i find myself just staring at all the fish for ages and ages! Fascinating :)

Yeh they have a great selection of tanks and some of the marine tanks are really nicely designed.

Have u seen the tank with the seahorse in? that is soo cool!

I keep getting the urge to go back there like every day but i mustn't as i'd end up buying something i dont need like another tank lol :D

Ben

Lol i know what you mean. Yeah they got some lush marine tanks, very well looked after. They've just done a few of the freshwater tanks up too. I love the discus tanks. Beautiful! :p

My local fish store is selling a lionfish! £40

Pets at home (Petsmart) are ####e for fish, ive had nothing but Fin rot, dropsy, swim bladder and internal parasites from their fish  but in the end they are quite cheap for supplies and i live over the road so its handy :fun:

Whenever i go in there i feel i have to buy and help the fish who are ill, but i love their bettas. I started of with a 20 gallon now i have four 12gallons for my bettas! :/

I live in the sea according to my betta half (excuse the pun) :look:

I was at Petsmart today and saw they had some gobies. I've heard gobies do well with puffers so I started asking questions about it, size, food, etc. I almost forgot to ask if special water conditions were needed when the person I was talking to told me that it is a brackish water fish and to make sure I had salt in the aquarium it was going into. it was obvious I was planning on getting the fish, but luckily they warned me first. I ended up getting some ghost shrimp for my puffers instead.

The people at my Pets Mart are quite helpful. :) There is a local Family owned fish store, but they hardly have any freshwater fish, mainly saltwater. They did have a cool medium sized Pleco though

My LFS is great!
I needed to find a home for my bros Jack Dempsey because he decided he no longer wanted it and was seriously considering flushing it. Being the animal lover I am, I took it TATS tropcial fish and they offered me credit. I didn't want credit, it was enough for me to know that he live on!

I've recently decided I want a CT betta. NO ONE has them in my area. They are special ordering me one for a super great price.

Besides all the great stuff they've done for me, they know their stuff. :D
