Imagitarium wide range pH kit instructions mismatch

See attached image - instructions in booklet say to add 3 drops of reagent, bottle says 4 drops. Does anyone else with this test kit have numbers that match between booklet and bottle? One or the other has to be a misprint on mine. I realize it won’t make a huge difference to the color being 3 vs 4 drops for this kind of reagent, but very subtle color differences do mean more on a wide range kit, so I’d like to be adding the correct amount…and if it really is 3 drops that also means more tests per bottle.

One of the test kits we got years ago had different numbers of drops from each bottle for the same test. You ran out of one solution before the other and had to buy a replacement kit with 2 new bottles. It's usually a sales ploy to take more of your money.

It's called Shrinkflation. They where not making money enough, they diluted it more so it last less.

Instead of 156 tests your down to 114.

I was hoping someone else here might have already gone through the contacting process. It’s never going to be a fast response. However, I might have found the answer after more digging. Looks like probably 3 drops but I need to go look at the stuff on my pc rather than my phone.

In this case the brand is a relative newcomer to test kits, so I suspect sloppiness before anything else. Unfortunately, a blatant goof such as this gives me pause about buying any of their other kits despite being competitively priced with things like API. I guess I will stick to the tried and true for other test types.

Ok yep found a manufacturer response elsewhere: 3 drops. Newer bottles have it fixed so mine has clearly been on the shelf for a bit (not surprising for test kits more generally). Just wasn’t searching for the right keywords previously. Well, now the info is here at least if anyone else runs into it.
