I'm so proud of Wal-Mart

Actually PROUD of them. They have upgraded their bettas into cups that are about triple than the previous dixie cups they were in. They all sure looked alot happier...I didn't even buy one! That's a first for me. (too busy buying cories, bumblebee gobies, and yoyo loaches) But I thought you would want to hear that some bettas are getting a little more room.

mine have those too, I was also very proud...for awhile, it seems larger cups mean less water changes though

Mine also got the new larger cups, they actually have air holes in the top. But now they are also stocking hermit crabs and frogs in them. I dont know if that will be a good thing, since we all know how well the bettas are taken care of.

Won't the hermit crabs begin to smell if they are kept in such tight quarters?

They've got enormous mystery snails, dwarf African frogs, and bettas in these cups, but most of them here (two Walmarts) are dead. They should take better care of them here... I'm not even sure that they have a fish associate. I hear varied news about other Walmarts.

I'm planning on buying some more bettas once my funds aren't so meager, and if Walmart takes better care of their fish, I might actually buy the bettas from some place other than Petsmart...
