im gonna make a 1g and a 5g... help appreciated!

does anyone know where a site is about dimensions for different tanks cause i wanna make a 1G and a 5G and i have all the stuff

also could i divide a 5G 3 ways and not just two dividing it 2 ways is kinda... weird cause its space being used up! and that way i can have just one more betta!!!

btw its gonna be a long 5G not a tall one and im not sure what i want the 1G to look like


oh another thing... because its cold in my room and my window doesnt get direct sun... can i put my two betta tanks in the window so there water doesnt get cold?!?!

ps do they make acrylic 1G tanks that look like the shape of bettas?!?! cause if they did... id by it wouldnt you?!?!

First hop on over to the DIY and hardware section of this forum ... there might be some useful info over there
Then there is a conversion and dimesion calculator in the pinned section of tropical chit chat
then you might want to chech out All-Glass aquarium on the left side of the page click "standard" under Aquariums and it gives the dimensions of the aquariums they sell .. I think the smallest is a 2.5 gal but there is definately a 5 on there
EDIT: careful about putting tanks in the window even if its not direct sunlight ... do a test run with a thermometer and no fish at the very least.

i also (just in case something goes wrong) have a monitor in one of the tanks closest to where anysun would hit (but thats only at 6AM)


edit: the current temp is 74F and i go and check every 7 seconds dont want my babys boilin! plus im also cleaning house so hehe makes life easyer if they are out of the way of harmful chemicals (already cleaned windows like at 9 and i put them in the window like 30minutes ago)
