Im Going To Need A Bigger Tank

set up a new tank today what do you think its a 2ft

i think the fish should be ok for about 2yrs then i will need a upgrade

any advice welcome

my LFS has some arapima gigas im thinking it would make a good tank mate what do you think

That would look good you could also put in a pair of Dwarf red retic rays according to wharf they only need small tanks.

why feel sorry for the fish it was only in the tank for 14hrs no longer than it would be if it was shipped in a polybox/bag with no filter of heater

this just goes to show how out of date some of the fishkeeping books and mags are they state that the stock levels in tanks are 1inch per gal of water well this is a 24g tank with only 12inch of fish that would make this tank ok
