if you could change the size of any fish, what fish's size would you change and how big would you make it?

ill go first, i would love a mini arowana that is like 3 inches and can live in a 20 gallon, that would be so awesome, or maybe get a jack dempsey cichlid and have it be like 3 inches and keep it in a 20 gal.

I would probably make my guppies and P/K class endlers livebearers all random sizes just for kicks.
I am considering breeding and selling them though, and if I could make some of the females able to carry thousands of fry….

Any of the archerfish or knifefish for sure! I'd want them to be a convenient 3-4 inches :)
On the other side of things, 6-7 inch clown killie would be a sight to behold, I think

All of them. Guppies, tetras, killies, tiger barbs, Kuhlies, Corys… you name it, any small fish would look great at a foot long, especially the very colourful ones.
And a lot of big fish would be good at 2-3”.

Not related, but imagine if dolphins grew to a foot long…..

How small would you have it be? Not how big...

You'd have to change the whole planet to create the conditions that would allow our small fish to get really big. We'd be fishing in cold water and a lot of us would get eaten.

Grandad was a fisherman all his life, but just before Christmas in 2023, a guppy got him.

It would be a double edged sword, wouldn’t it. Pecked to death by mollies….

We need to be careful what we wish for. We already have foot long tetras. We call them piranhas…

I would increase the size of celestial pearl danios . They look like speckled brook trout but are so tiny I practically have to press my nose against the glass to get a good view. Absolutely beautiful creatures.

I do not want to live in that world.

i also would like to imagine a betta fish the size of an arowana, that thing would be a crazy jumper
