They won't live together because they need different types of water. Goby needs water with salt and minerals. Pleco needs water without salt and minerals.

You've been given an answer. I suppose if you want a literal answer it is no they won't, because they'll never be found in the same water.

No one wants to give advice that will harm a fish, so you won't get an answer here. Those fish should not be kept together, so the question becomes meaningless. You shouldn't worry about it - just keep it from happening by setting up aquariums for each species properly.
