If Only I Had Some Jelly

Once they've figured the jelly reference I'll start posting in Welsh and really confuse everyone
Aaah, Pobol y Cwm! Cwyb Rygbi!

And that is the extent of my Welsh knowledge...

And for the Yanks (and reclusive Northerners) out there, Jellied eels (normally Anguilla anguilla) is a regional speciality of East London and Essex. Though the jelly in question is neither Jam (the yank meaning) or a sweet Gelatin based desert (the UK version). I work with a lady who keeps threatening to feed my eel to her husband with some jelly...

Man i am gunna feell like fooll if this is wrong but.... My translater says that Aaah, Pobol y Cwm! Cwyb Rygbi! = Aaah , People the Valley! Cwyb Rugbi!

So unless you are talking about a Rugbi team i have no clue.

hehehehe thats really rubbish

It is old welsh though. It is the Welsh national anthem...it translates as...

Old land of my fathers
So dear unto me
Famed land of the minstrel
Fair home of the free
Thy warriors who wielded
Undaunted thy sword
For freedom their life-blood have poured
Wales Wales, true am I to Wales
While seas surge round
We'll raise the sound
O live ye loved land evermore!

As well as feeding on prawns:

However he has also found a habit for going for my finger as well

And this (somewhat large - 18mb/1min) video shows him feeding in all his glory:

Apologies for the bleeching on some pics, but such a white fish is a pain to photograph very well when it comes out under the light.

Are you trying to train him to be an attack eel? :sly:

Getting him use to the taste of human flesh.....shame on you

Awesome critter, though....eventhough it is becoming a man eater...... :D
