If Anyone Is Interested Loggerhead Turtles Hatch Live Webcam

Hi everyone i just thought id share this with you all as i find it facsinating (when it happens lol)

View a Live Turtle Webcam in the Lower Florida Keys
Environmental enthusiasts should be able to observe infant loggerhead sea turtles hatching and emerging from their nest, via this live streaming “turtle webcam” installed on a private beach on Big Pine Key in the Lower Florida Keys. The camera, funded by the Florida Keys Tourist Development Council, currently is focused on a nest with eggs projected to hatch sometime between Aug. 17 and Aug. 24. Afterwards, plans call for relocating the webcam to other nearby nests.

Approximate dates loggerhead turtles are
expected to hatch::
Nest 1 Nighttime hours between now and Aug. 25
Nest 2 Nighttime hours between Aug. 27 and Sept. 3
Nest 3 Nighttime hours between Sept. 1 and Sept. 9

one nest has hatched now and has got a video off them if you missed it.

these things hatching is fascinating...and its amazing how theyre always attracted to the reflection of the moon light in the water, but its so heart breaking when the accidently end up in pools

yeah it is heartbreaking. hopefully these little critters made it too the sea ok. although the way the webcam was positioned you dont really get to see if they did! but still amazing to watch them emerge
