I doubt the feeling is mutual, but it is definitely reassuring for me as a young grasshopper that someone else is coming up with similar genus fish, Wills!

Got to admit it defently looking like it is along them lines if the Homaloptera orthogoniata did not have red fins that would have been it

Is your setup currently upto supporting this guy long term, as in have you got a lowish temp (<25.5C), but more importantly high current to give the high oxygen needs of the "hillstreams?"
I've currently got Panda Garras and Indian Red Tail Squirrel Loaches (latter still in QT) and have been looking into the idea of adding a mix of hillstream species that my LFS of choice (Aquajardin) have in stock.

I run my tank at 25 to 26 after doing a little reading though look like i gonna have to do a rethink as i do have a powerhead moving water and a external filter but dont think it is enough for this guy
