I just hope the HC carpet takes, i also hope that the Rosaeflia, 1 stays red and 2 stays mini!

I just love the wood, what type is it mate ?

its manzanita wood, all the way from the US OF A. Tom Barr imports a lot of it.

You don't mess about when it comes to making big changes to your set-up!

ha ha, i love scaping tanks, always pushing ones self! lol

Have you used anything to hold the slope in the substrate?

Soil substrates tend to be better at sloping than others, so no there isn't anything holding it up.

So all the Cardinals given away? What's going in with the rams?

Yes the Cards have gone to the LFS, and they are looking after my Rams, i wanted to keep them.

Very nice Ian, I like the deep substrate gradient. It'd be lovely if the red stayed - I reall hope it doesn, it'll break all the vibrant green up. (not that there's anything wrong with vibrant green, but variety is the spice of life etc!)

Well, Well, that is looking superb Ian. So simple yet so stunning. This will be amazing when it grows in.

The rams will look amazing when they are in. Beautiful, just beautiful. :good:

LP

thanks Cazzie, ps i should get your plants off tomoz. :good:

and thank you LP, that means a lot. I took the inspiration from an underwater Wabi-kusa that Amano did, i liked the open feel in the pic, i haven't really had a tank with an open expanse before. I just hope the HC takes *crosses fingers* and thanks again LP.

Ian. when you're taking photos get a light behind the cabinet shining up. then it will use your wall to give a nice light even background

Looking good mate. Looks like a blend of dutch planting within an NA aquascape the way each plant has it's 'territory'. lol Ahould look cool once they meet each other :)

Thanks a lot Andy. I have thought about using a lamp in the cabinet, Andy style. I might just try in tonight. :good: I was going to grade the stems a little more but decided against it. I just hope the lud keeps it's redness.

Is that your CO2 diffuser on the right?

Yes it is, it's one of those Bazooka's. An excellent way to diffuse C02. I'll get a vid up later with it diffusing and you can see how good they are.

Looks good Ian, nice one Wish i had a clue about plants, for some reason the info just doesnt stick in my head/quote]

Thanks Tizer, which info doesn't stick in your head?

Thanks jinty!

ZZ i find it quite easy tbh, water changes are done when the muggles are in bed. Mother was given £100 to buy her self something nice yesterday. She was out all day with the baby as the youngest is at school now, she remained very happy with her new shoes. I have a week off work, so the tank will get a daily water change for the next week or so.
