Ian's 80Cm (Hc Gone, Moss Added)

Very nice mate, they had these at MA Shirley/Solihull at the weekend... not really into gouramis but these really do have a distinct charm about them :).

Hmmm.... might see another tank setup soon lol.... im sure the misses will be pleased you posted these pics lol  .

**Chiming in for first time** I love this tank!! I'm always too afraid to mix hardscapes, but you softened the transitions nicely! Shame about the HC, I'd guess lighting  The gouramis look amazing!!! Have you had any trouble with them and the cherries?

Nice fish, never seen them before.

Whats the price tag on them mate ?

£4 a piece! :good:

Finally looked at the pics on the computer, they look fantastic Ian. I am very jealous of them. Glad you went to get them, their contrast is fantastic with the plants substrate and hardscape.

Glad i was involved in your purchase of them. :D

Those chocolate gourami are beautiful - never has brown looked so exciting!

wow cheers for the comments!

They really suit a planted tank. They cost £4 each. :good:

Saying that, my missus loves these things! She doesn't really comment on the fish...they are cute though, in a manly way...

Thanks Dasmall, i really appreciate the comments. They appear to ignore the cherries, the cherries are around an inch long and these guys are nearly that.

Glad i was involved in your purchase of them

I'm glad you told me what part of the roundabout to come off!

Those chocolate gourami are beautiful - never has brown looked so exciting!

hahaha tis true, the brown looks great if i do say so myself.

It wasn't to bad to get to, to be fair.

anyways, heres a quick clip of them. :good: Best viewed in 720p

Yes of course in a manly way.. *deep cough* lol

Nice video mate.... they really do look stunning

cheers guys...they are all still alive and kicking and really colouring up well.

It's a pity more people don't use these in planted tanks, because they really suit a planted tank.

Well, a boring Saturday left me to get the camera out...sorry guys.

I'm really pleased with how the Alternanthera Rosaefolia 'mini' is keeping redness under low light. A very nice plant IMO.

Great as ever Ian.

Glad to hear the chocos are settling in well.

I suppose its ok, I would move the cushions a little off centre so you're not automatically drawn to them. Allow the surrounding area to stand a chance of being noticed too.

Also, your shed could do with a lick of paint, starting to look a bit poorly. Maybe up the maintenance a little?
