Yay!! It was so much fun, so much to tell you all...I'm still in Washington, at Julie's house, she cleaning her tanks right now while I check what you all are up to
The whole thing has just been great, lots of stress and no sleep, but worth every second
I had to sneak the fish on the plane yesterday, I had one of mine and the one I was bringing for Julie and the were in my pockets at the airport
Wonderfully I was chosen for a random security check and I had to take off my shoes and socks along with my sweatshirt while they went through all my bags. By some miracle the lady molested me everywhere but my two pockets and I got the fish on the plane
The show was just amazing, the fish were all gorgeous and the people we met were wonderful (for the most part
I had issues with one girl during the auction today, but I digress
My little orangie boy that I brought got first place in his class
I was so excited for him
We haven't gotten any sleep
Julie and I are having too much fun, we went swimming and watch movies and just forgot to go to sleep
I got 15 bettas
A piebald plakat, a pair of opaque plakats, a chocolate DT with a chocolate female, a red and black CT, black and white marble female plakat, a turq and white super delta, yellow DT, two red females, a amazind red HM male with more finnage then you have ever seen, and a pair I won in the raffle. As cation told you we did go to a fish store and I could not leave empty handed, but I got some very nice fish there as well
This raffle pair was so amazing I had to have them. The drew raffle ticketsall throughout the auction for pairs of fish along with dry goods. I literally put 46 raffle tickets in for this pair and they were the very last drawing of the whole day. The first ticket they drew wasn't mine and the three of us just about died, but turns out the lady who won them had already left so they drew again and that one was mine
They are a black and red pair from Jim Sonnier and I am sooooo in love with them.
SO much to tell and I'm sure Julie and Jen will add on, and I promise we will have the pictures from Julie's camera up tonight and mine will be up tomorrow night when I get home
