I saw a really nice 100gallon or so with some cichlids and a few small balas and some other tetras or barbs I beilieve. It was extremely clean and the fish looked great and they had THE BIGGEST BLOOD PARROT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE and the second biggest one!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely COULD NOT BELIEVE THE SIZE OF THIS THING.......HOLY MOLY......

It was at LEAST the size of a softball, with a little tail of course and the other was the size of a baseball.

My two BPs are the size of a golfball + and a large marble. Okay, okay I'm into the sports analagies today

 No, but seriously.....these guys were SOOOOOOOO cute. They LOVED me and they wanted to come home with me. I must have looked like a COMPLETE nutto because I was petting them through the glass with my fingers   :*) . I went to the other side of the tank and they followed me!!!!  AAAHHHHHHH!!! I love those guys!!! I love em, love em, love em.......

Then I left, didn't even do my business, and I started squealing to my husband about how freaking cute they were and how maybe our Polly and "baby Polly" will get that big someday. I'm sure my husband thought I was a lune-ball too!!!

:S

Ahhhhhhhh.......fish............

Sometimes I wonder who owns who....... :alien:

Funny you should mention this topic now....I was in a different LFS to the one I normally visit...it is a large pet-shop warehouse type place that sells lots of fish as well as lots of other pet supplies....

ANYWAY....the stor actually has a resident cat..or, more the point, a kitten. SOO cute and friendly. When I walked it it greetde me, being a cat lover, I picked it up and proceeded to go watch the fish. As i do with my cat, there I was, holding the cat up to the tanks saying "I bet you'd love to eat that one wouldn't you?" and "Which fish in this tank looks the tastiest"....funnily enough the cat wasn't one bit interested in the fish and seemed more intent on pulling at my hair. Then I eralised that the lady that looks after the fish was watching me and was covering her mouth to stop herself laughing....

Hmmm......a real nutcase!!!
