I Think My Sunburst Molly Is Going To Have Fry

Hello, I just noticed my molly actting weird today and that she had gotten really big. She look like she is going to pop but im not sure. Im going to try and get some pics of her but if anyone can help it would be so great

Well today is a sad day for my 3 year old. These are her fish, she helps feed them and clean the tanks. We had her molly in a breeding net last night and when we woke this moring she only had eggs, which i had a feeling would happen because she is so young. About 20mins ago i check on her to she how she was doing and saddly she was dead. Does anyone know why this might have happened? I want to try to explain to my daughter why it happened, she is a bright little girl and she is very sad as i am too.

Sounds like she aborted her fry,the eggs are unborn embryos,sadly trapping fish can cause a lot of stress to them and can lead to their untimely death...

oh boy i feel very bad now. but i explanin everything to my daughter and she kinda understands. Thank you. I have to female guppy that are prego. Please any advice on how and what to do would be great. I really dont want to do anything wrong this time

don't feel bad about her aborting you learn from your mistakes and to be honest it happens to the best of us,instead of putting the guppys that are due in the net,you could let the fish five birth in the tank then catch the wee little fry and put them in the net for a safe house.

Ok thank you so much. I was looking in my tank and i have two dalmation molly and the one looks like it is getting big but i cant tell if its male or female what do you think? i attach a photo i hope it worked

Well when we got it they said its a molly but she died today now im asking about my dalmation molly i dont know if its male or female and the belly is getting really big
