car boot sales? whats the reasoning behind that name? i know ours is called garage/yard sales because we have them in the garage or in the yard! simple enough

oh man i can't believe how incredibly lucky you are!!!

we have garage sales here but i've never came across a fishtank before it's alwasy just lots of junk that nobody needs

so after a few weeks i gave up

Possible because they are usualyl conducted in school carparks and the like out of car boots (oh, trunks in the US).

i love to rummage in the first place....so it's not like thats the #1 thing on my mind....i just luck out sometimes and people are like "oh this is crap...lets sell it for...nearly nothing? that sounds good" it don't make sence to me....if it's nearly just as good as when they bought it, anything more than half off sounds good to me. lol.
i still think that $5 for a $60 tank is crazy....but i won't complain of course!
maybe fish keeping is more common around here.....hence it being more common to throw away tanks! either way...i like it
