I went to a LFS yesterday to see what other foods they had available compared to my really local fish shop, and I saw they had dried blackworms.

Are they alright to feed bettas?

I can't see why they wouldn't be any good, but I've heard that freeze dried stuff isn't too good for them. I just wanted to make sure that dried blackworms were ok.

TIA!

I have heard that freeze dried is better fed rehydrated. taking a small cup, placing dry food in it, and using a few drops of garlic juice or vitamins to soak in, then feeding to fish.

I personally don't like freeze-dried stuff, but there are alot of people who feed them to their fish as a treat.
I've also heard that it's better if you soak them a little in some water before feeding b/c it will expand in their stomachs if you don't.

I'm not the biggest fan of freeze dried. They lose a lot of nutrients. I've heard somewhere that you are more likely to get constipation problems with freeze dried food as well.

Plus side is freeze dried doesn't carry potential disease like frozen stuff.
