I need help fast (Update)

Carry on with the tetracycline, liike humans some of us have to carry on with the med, don't stop the med it just takes longer with some deseases to show an effect.

maybe start looking at a parasite if nothing is working. Costia seems the most likely here.

Well I have tripled checked the fish for any signs of parasites and i cannot see not one thing that would leave me to believe that they have them. What else would cause them to change colors I have racked my brain and I cannot come up with anything at all. The fish are at a stand still no better or no worse. I have been changing the water daily not big changes just small ones 25 percent everyday. This is the first time I have ever had anything happen to my fish that I cant get a grip on. I am starting to think they are not going to get well.. no matter what I do.. If they are something else that anyone of you all can figure out for me to do for them please do not hesitate to say I have run out of ideals :dunno:

What are you feeding them and do you vary the diet? Sometimes if the food is old or they get the same thing to eat all the time then they can get vitamin defficiencies.
Still looking though.

Most sites tell you if you don't no if it's bacterial or parasite, to start of with a bacterial med and if that dosn't work, then to consider parasites, i think i would add a parasite med on top of the bacterial med,it's hard to dertermine which cause as they can both show the same symtoms then on top you can get parasite and bacterial problems on top of one other.

I feed them shrimp pellets, frozen shrimp, blood worms, and flakes, also some beef hearts ever now and then, The get a wide range of different foods..

And they was one more thing I forgot to tell you it is popeye on the smallest fish. it looka like a glass bubble on its eye, Idont understand what brought tbis on.

if it has popeye then the whole eye would stand out from the head.
If you have come to the end of a treatment then for a few days just do 50% water changes and if no sign of improvement start a treatment for protozoan parasites.
Most parasites you cant see Angel Lady and the eye swelling is probably because he is weak and other diseases are taking hold.

on the smallest fish. it looka like a glass bubble on its eye
This description sounds like Gas Bubble Disease. I believe a common cause is adding water which contains too much gas...when you first add water to tank, bubbles collecting on the glass/decor can be an indicator. If this just developed, I would say it's down to the recent frequent water changes. Try aerating the water a bit before adding it.

Were you able to get the results on KH? and nitrates?

How they doing angel lady any improvement.

I was getting ready to find this topic so I could let you all know whats going on. I treated the tank for parasites and I have had very good luck they are both better and eating now. They still have some film over the big one eyes but I think with a few more water changes that will line its self out. I never could see anything thing on them that resembled a parasite infection but that was clearly what it was since they are better after I treated for parasites. I would like to that you all for all the help that you have gave me with these fish it is nice to know I can depend on you guys when something goes wrong that I cant seem to fix on my own..

Its a relief to see the parasite med is working.

I think the biggest oscar is going to be blind. I have to hand feed him now he cant find his food. The film is still over his eyes but you can see the eyeball now, Do you all think once the film is gone he will be able to see again..I hate this. I have done nothing but baby it since the day I bought him and now this.

Fingers crossed that he will be able to see when the film goes, it depends on how much the eye has been damaged, glad things are going good, wish could of found the problem abit earlier, not always easy, good news though.

They still keep getting better, As of a hour ago I done a small water change of 20 percent. Which I have been doing ever since they got sick. And I noticed that one of his eyes the fiim was gone and the other one is just barley noticable. This is great news I think they will be back to normal in a couple of days. Thanks everyone for all the much needed advice..
