they were called 'purple harlequins' but ive only just managed to take a pic! although they do no justice to them

so has anyone ever seen them? had them? i cant find anything on tinterwebs

I read somwhere that they are line bred from harlequin rasboras to produce this colour. I dont know anything other than that lol

I kept some a few years ago, and haven't seen any since, just treat them as you would any other rasbora, temperature 22-26oC, PH 6.5-7.5, Tank size 40-60 litres, they're fairly placid as well, and they look fantastic.

I love the purple harlequins,which is one of the natural colours for them,also think the black harlequins are awesome

I've never seen them in lfs only the copper coloured & blacks

They have these in Manchester Pets & Aquatics at the moment. Was looking at them at weekend, hadn't seen or heard of them before.
