I fed a treat to my Bala Sharks. It was one cube of Brine Shrimp, it would've been 2. Anyway my biggest one, which is 7 or 8 inches long ate the cube in one gulp. Which concerned me, at some point will Bala's start to eat their tank mates?

Also can I keep two blue rams together in a community tank? Will the rams become aggressive?

Blue rams are fine in a community so long as you give them plenty of hiding places. They also need PERFECT water conditions as they are quite delicate little fish.

It's always best to thaw a cube of frozen food in a small cup of tankwater first. I used to just put the cube in the tank, but one night one of my Pentazona Barbs seemed to swallow a large piece that had broken off. It was obviously in distress, but managed to spit it out.

Don't ya just hate brain freeze?

Bala Sharks are known to be peaceful often and leave their tankmates alone. But you never know, so always keep an eye out for things in your tank.
