I Just Counted The Fry

Selling most of them, I imagine. Luckily I work at a fish shop now and maybe I can convince my boss to save me a tank once they get bigger... betta juvies, 2 dolla'

Would you consider shipping them?
Absolutely, I've actually never sold any of my juvies locally, so I do a lot of shipping. They'll need to be at least 2.5 months before that is an option though, preferably 3+ :)

For all of us who might want to buy the juvies can you post pics of the parents?

Ok well if you get a chance post pics of rents plz. I will contact you in about 2.5 months to find out if they are ready. Do you know what the cost will be around or will you not be able to figure it out until they are ready for shipping?

awesome! With that many, you're sure to have tons that you like. Do you have something to cull them with like another fish or a turtle? If not, happy water changes. And congrats!!! You did something right.

Once it gets cold I have to ship Express and use a heat pack, so when these guys are first ready it's likely to be $20 for the first few (price goes up a bit with increased weight if you buy a ton of them), plus $2 for a heat pack. In the summer when temps. are high I can use Priority, which is only $6.

I haven't had to up to this point. If there are more than I can handle, all I have to do is slack on water changes a bit... this causes some to grow dramatically faster than others, and the smallest get eaten by siblings. I usually only cull deformies, so yes, heppy water changes it will no doubt be :( :p

EDIT: Almost forgot the pics of the parents:

ST male, he is short-bodied, a type that is becoming popular in Thailand but is considered a disqualifying fault in IBC shows. Not a good idea to breed two sibs from this spawn together if you are planning to show in regular classes, I'm expecting about 25% short-bodied in the F2 if I don't get any in this spawn. You would probably be able to show them in form variations, though. They are very cute, I think, but if it's not something you're interested in it would be very frustrating to have it pop up in your lines and have to breed it out.

ST female, sibling to the male in my avatar. She is actually marble but became solid as she got older, so the fry will be marble/marble geno

I think she has before.

Synirr, put me on the list for a pair of each. That is if the spawn goes well.
