Ooooooooooh! Every time I think I have a new "favorite" color, I see another betta and think that one's the most beautiful. He is very impressive. How long will it take before you have him with you? If this were a poll, I would vote for Kam (Nightfall) for his name.

Thanks, thanks, thanks..I can't wait to get him..and you KNOW I'll take pics lol. I'm like a pic hound or something..I love taking pics of my fish...no matter how strange people who walk by my office look at me (lol the ones who get a quick glimpse...I usually I close my door so they can't see me ).

HOLY good lord...Now I understand why the nice natrual gravel was $4 per 5lb bag .

I've probably spent $20 on water washing this gravel from Lowe's .

I have NEVER seen so much crap in a lot of gravel as was in this stuff. Grass, sticks, bark, sand, dirt...you name it lmao. I must have gotten the bag that was filled last..after they scraped the spot they kept the gravel for the very last time...to get the last remaining bits that were left lol.

But after a week of washing and drying (it was rather wet when I got it too) it's completey grass, bark, stick, ect.. free. I finished yesterday and have it in a 5 gal bucket outside to dry (surely in over 100 degree heat it'll dry...right??? ).

But on a fishier note...I'm getting a tad concerned about my fish actually. I Paypal'ed the payment to the breeder 2 days ago and he still hasn't accpeted the payment . Never had that happen before, hope nothing has happened to him or anything (the breeder not the fish ). Maybe he just went away for the weekend or something... .

He is suposed to be shipped to the trans-shipper on the 28th....so now I'm all nervous n stuff lol.

hey, just thought i'd let you know... i'm in the works of buying a yellow ct female from the same breeder, and i've gotten three e-mails from him in the past three days. so, he's out there. maybe you should e-mail him and remind him that you sent the payment?

Yeah, he's always good about responding..so that's why I was wondering so much.

I FWD the email from paypal that said the payment was still unclaimed, and he asked that I cancel that payment and send it to another e-mail addriess...hmm oh well lol.

Hopefully all is well now and I will get my fishie soon .

I kept thinking on how much I was paying to have this 1 lonely...single fish shipped over here. Then I looked over at my desk and I have 3 1 gallon tanks empty since I moved my sick ones back into the main tank..plus I have a 1/2 of a 2.5 gal still open at home (only fish in there is Gam, my turquoise DT) so I went looking for a cheap fish.

I love to cruise the closed auctions. You can usually pick up a fich for the Starting Price quite easy...as the breeder doesn't have to worry with re-submitting another ad lol.

I got another one from Siam...made sense them both coming from the same place lol.

I e-mailed him to make sure he still had him..but it just ended so I'm fairly certain he will still have him . **edit** He's MINE!! I just paid for him lol....another great $12 spent!
