That's generally how you can sex them. Females are larger and rounder, males slimmer and smaller.

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking the one egg that hatched from my 55g just might be a delphax!! The fry is twice the size of the peppers and has some dark markings.

What do albino fry look like? Do they already have the peach coloring when they first hatch?

Albino fry are very pale and do have a peach/pink tinge to them. Look on this albino fry , shows my newly hatched albino fry

I just spent the last half hour reading that whole post! Very interesting and informative, and it gives me even more hope that I have at least one delphax. It's the biggest of the bunch even though it's two days younger than the peppers. That would be soooooo wonderful!

So I did my usual counting of the fry routine tonight. AND THERE WERE TEN!!! I can't even figure out where they came from! Must have been the eggs on the pennywort that I just put in the tank.
