ok thanks for all your help will start looking now. thanks again.

I think I mite mix a little of my larger type of gravel in with the sand to give it a different kind of look rather than all sand.

I had this very same problem-very small sharpish gravel vs. larger, totally round gravel. I opted for the larger gravel. It is about 5 mm long, some smaller, some bigger, but there is nothing sharp about it. The hard part was sorting through 20 lbs of gravel, pulling out the sharp pieces and any sea shells. I just set up the tank. Good luck!!!
