I can't help it !

@Slaphppy7 Me and two friends in my 5th grade class made Starfleet badges out of tinfoil and cardboard and affixed them proudly to our shirts to wear to school. The teacher made us take them off because we were violating the school dress code. Seems adults always want to harsh a kids buzz.

Whaaaaat??? Thats dumb. The "dress code" smh

Yes, a dress code. Believe it or not there was once a time when children were not allowed to go to school attired like hobos.
Oh I know there are dress codes... When I was in public school a teacher pulled me aside FROM RECESS to tell me that my shorts were to short... Well it was my last pair of shorts I had to wear and the temp was like 85°F that day. My other shorts were in the dirty clothes and I wasn't able to clean them for a while... So that pair was my back up back up pair... And also they were not that short for shorts... They went a TEENSY bit above my knees but thats it... I just said "Ok" to the teachers and said sorry but I was upset they pulled me aside for that... It was dumb.

If someone made a homemade pin to wear, I dont see why you cant wear it... Its not offensive... At least a star trek one shouldn't be

See, if you had been wearing the Starfleet uniform with the badges, they couldn't complain because you would have been in full uniform, instead of only partially dressed :)

When I went to public high school many moons ago, the boys had to wear ties. If you didnt have a tie on, you had to pay a dollar and they would loan you a tie for the day.
We had to wear a Cap and Blazer and socks with Gatters and tassels. We were very smart. :)

Wasn't the Enterprise the one Luke Skywalker... no I can't do that....
