Happy, healthy, fit, well fed and free range birds produce better eggs than those stuck in little cages and deprived of sunlight and variation in their diet.

The better fed the birds are, the better their eggs.

I know! I would hate to be the chicken that laid that egg. So glad I'm not a chicken

Almost as bad as having a 9 lb baby. Though my grandmother never knew how heavy my father was when he was born, the scales only went up to 12 lb.......

I'm planning on getting chickens in the future, which means I will have to train my doggy too, and I also will have a medium pond in my garden as well so.

That's cool! Make sure the chickens are kept away from the pond they can drown in just about anything

That is one big egg, when my wife's relatives were still running their farms we got all the fresh eggs and vegetables we wanted. They are all retired from farming and rent out their farms now.
