Mine dropped right down but my dad shot his deer fatally the first time but he has learned to keep shooting until their down so he hit it's spine the 2nd time within a few seconds

That makes sense to shoot the spine after the vitals (if you are quick enough lol).

Oh, nice! What do you make out of it? We do burgers with the scraps, tenderloins and backstraps are steaks, a few roast out of the hind quarters, jurkey, and salt and dehydrate.

We make roasts and chops, scraps turn into burger, tenderloins and heart are cook and mixed with whatever. Yum

We have CWD up here. We have to bring in the heads. Really it's easier to buy a bottle of tanning solution lol. Way less work, and I am for that lol!

I've never tried it but I have had other animal organs and I am not a fan. ESPECIALLY liver lol.

I think one of those. We got 3 adult deer.
