Well thats how big they get if looked after well. I have had a pair that reached 12".

Somebody brought some big mama's into my lfs and I almost died when I saw them! They were huge and thick,crazy looking.

I love loaches, I caught 1 of mine sleeping with his tail in the gravel and his head resting on the glass pointing to the top of the tank just as lazy as his dad

My f****** god that is some huge loaches . I didn't know they get that big I'm sure my tank will suit them for a long time though.

They sought of lose their colour as they get older by the looks of it. the fat one (Fat one? they're all fat) eating out of the Bloodworm tube is great !
