a word on the compact interpet units; you will only be able to get them second hand as they have stopped making them because of an EU legislation

oh okay :)

but for the record ive never kept a mandy so cant really talk of experience. but i know trod and seffie have, they will tell you how theres did

Seffie lost hers, its just so hard to keep ontop of their demand for pods. In a little tank where there isnt much you are constantly adding them. Trod got really lucy as hers was a juvie that eats frozen. Nearly as rare as rockin horse s**t.

I was constantly culturing pods and still lost mine.

yeah ive heard its hard, but on the flip side, surely a blenny would be just as hard to keep?

Only scooter blenny's are dragonets truck... The common name "Blenny" refers to a lot of other types of fish which are NOT dependent on pods for food. Members of the Ecsenius and Meiacanthus genus are not pod eaters. Nor are members of the Salarias genus.

Edit and to reply to the OP, consider fairy wrasses too in addition to flashers

Cheers for the heads up truck :), BTW the coral beauty angel is stunning still think i might have trouble with corals with it but stunning eitherway.

You say the compacts are not been sold anymore, does this include the lights for them aswell?. May be able to get hold of a 36w twin instead if jagz is kind to me ;) pmsl and run 2 T8's with it so still a decent amount of light.

just been looking at the watchman goby (think it's called that) is this compatible?.

Also been looking at the clarkii clowns and i like so might be a route to take :)

thanks yet again for all your help, nice to see helpfull people with alot of experience :)

bulbs are still in production and will be for the foreseable future.

yellow watchman gobies are nice little things, im debating on either a watchman or a clown goby, both yellow...both pretty.

clarkii clowns im affraid will get on the big side so may need rehoming, i would stick to common and perc clowns, you can get lots of different colours now too!
