How To Prepare Beef Heart For My Oscars?

Hiya just wondered if anyone knows how to prepare beef heart as i would like to start giving this to my oscars, any advice would be great thank you

Get a Beefheart from the butcher, cut away all the fat and tubes so as your left with pretty lean meat (usually the outsides). Now cut your lean meat into good sized cubes and individually freeze. When needed take a frozen cube and run it over the course side of a hand grater, let this defrost somewhat then feed to the Oscars.

Just as a footnote to the above,
Only feed beefheart sparingly and not as the main part of the fishes diet once or twice a week is sufficient.
Remove any uneaten food soon after feeding to avoid fouling the aquarium.
